Hi

I'm kinda new to the whole windows blinds thing and I was wondering if anyone could help. I've installed a few blinds on my w7 but for some reason I can't find a way to change the wallpaper on my desktop. I've changed about 5 or 6 windows blinds but i still have my original wallpaper, the one I had before installing windows blinds. I click the blinds, click on the section Wallpapers and I can only find my own wallpaper.

I'm sorry for asking such a stupid question(I bet it has a very simple solution but I just can't seem to find it). I am also sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

click on wallpaper tab in windwblinds....then click on settings [to the right]...check 'windowblinds wallpaper directory' is checked.

And if you want the wall shown in the windowblind preview, usually, it'll be a seperate download.

I've done that and i still can't find it there. I even left just that section (windowsblinds wallpaper directory) checked and it still shows me just my old wallpaper:(

I got the one for 'cypher', but there are some windowsblinds that don't have a separate download link for the wallpaper and i can't find it when i look for it. I just thought it would've been something that I overlooked while installing the skin 8|

Not every skin includes the shown wallpaper of the preview. Nor does every skinner uploads the shown wallpaper here, since not every wall is made by themselves.

If a wallpaper is supposed to be included, it is either packed into the downloaded zip or installed with the skin in its own skin folder (c:users/all users/all documents/ stardock /windowblinds/skinfolder).

It normally stands in the description here of a skin. If there is not a wallpaper included nor uploaded here, you may can find the name or a link to it in the comments of a skin.

 

But of course you can use your own wallpaper. Windowblinds does not change your wallpaper with a skin, only you windows gui. But it has some functions in addition to change your wallpaper.
