switching to desktopx builder wait time

Whenever I switch to desktopx builder, the windows 7 progress circle just spins, and spins, and spins, and spins......finally it gets there. I've got 16GB ram and a radeon hd 6770 with 1 gb onboard. why does it take so long? Any way to speed it up? Thanks in advance.

I always launch DX in builder mode. No need to switch to it that way. ;)

I agree, by the way!  Or updated to the most recent beta. All there is is builder mode.

I'd say that's a tad drastic.

 

Maybe clean your system, run CCleaner, maybe a registry cleaner, and junk file cleaner, I use Advanced System Care, by IOBIT.

 

Update to the newest version of DX.
