Rip site or not?

I can talk about mines and Dangeruss skin's. Our skins were used without any kind of permission and worst, those guys are selling theese skins.
We are talking to them during the last few weeks for them to remove our skins with any success.

Ah! the same thing with D.A.K.´s skin. >

Noted this one a couple weeks ago when they posted news over at skinz. It's obvously a rip. Big one too, 'cos they are selling skins!

It has been done, guys....we found out about this last week or so and I'm currently to-ing and fro-ing with emails....slow stuff cos they are Russian....but I'm getting there...

Unfortunately, I have contacted the skinners whose work has been used by you and your site and they have all requested that you remove their skins immediately.
You will have to make your own, or contact other skinners and request their permission to use other skins, or ask them to make some specially for you and your product.

I have the greatest respect for thou ampersand, jafo. I also use a rendering emplacement. I wouldn't be caught without one.

BTW, I think the little rat icon beside the word "Skins" on that website indicates the philosophy of these people. You may have a tough haul ahead convincing them of the error of their ways.

Oh, and I was wondering, when people say "rip" around here do they mean something along the lines of "rip off". The reason I ask is that I work in the graphic arts industry and a "rip" is a whole other thing...usually very expensive but crucial if you want to send 4 color separations to a negative imagining machine.

Yes, it's used in the context of "Windows? What a rip of MacOS . . ."
