Hotmail Scam...

Lately, many ppl have been complaining about emails that have no body or attachment at all, have wack random subjects, and are like 122k!

A week ago, I looked at my Hotmail account, and had 14 of those emails. 3 where from friends and 1 was from a totaly different address of mine. I asked my friends and they have not sent files to that email before (it is not one i use much) and I know I have not sent one to that account, and most deffinately not on talking about winning a car. I saw a little add about extra storage form Hotmail. It did not click till I got 19 of those stupid emails, and a few MSN emails telling me about my account is full and i need extra storage, and 4 more emails for that stupid exra storage, and finally, an email about closing my account because I have not been cheaking it. I recived this email 5 days after i last looked at my inbox.

That is when an add about extra storage popped up. And I have a large hunch Microsoft has been sending those large emails, trying to get me to buy extra storage! >

That is only a hunch, but when i pointed it out to ppl, they all accepted that Microsoft has been doing it. It would not supprize me if they are doing this. Microsoft has and always will make me sick.

Erm . . . this is called a virus. There's one that scans people's address books and then makes it's mailings appear to have come from people in there.

Small children upset my stomach. All that kicking and screaming. I'd rather chew on their parents.

It's called the Klez virus, and it won't leave me alone. Anyone with my address in their books, please delete it!

We use hotmail because it is free and probably the one with the least amount of popup-ads plus the junkmail filter really works. I think Bill is an ok guy, at least from the interviews I've seen. But Microsoft is not = Bill Gates
