design looks very cool..... but I've always associated the colours as more.... muted.. though....

I find the traditional colour scheme a bit bland and outdated.

I like the concept and the dream.  I am grateful that I don't have to use it as an operating system though . . it seems more confusing than useful.

That's because you haven't been through Starfleet Academy.  I'm sure they have courses you can take.
