Custom Map glitch
I found this random glitch in custom map, though I'm sure no one will care.




Side note: Is there a way to make a 3k+ planet map without the game crashing?
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

Haha no. the game will most certainly bomb all the time, every time if you have a map w/ >3000 planets.
There's just way too much going on in that for the game engine and the computer system to handle.
In trinity there's a great custom map titled "Star Wars". Like 10 total players and around 600 habitable planets.
Now I pride myself on having a great home built computer, but it lagged like a st. bernard swimming in molasses.
Personally, I wish sins could put out a top-tier game for high end computers to handle those kind of massive information games, but it won't happen. I'd stick with games <500 planets.
Well I tested the game engine in Diplomacy. starting from 10k+ planets and working down. Plays excellent at 1500 planets, 2k~+ lags so bad.
