Version 2.2 and under skins yahoo messenger, there is NO problem with this version......

I'm asking if the new version 3.2 will skin yahoo messenger, if its not included to skin it and there is no exclusion to remove.. Whats there to remove in the wbdbg.ini?

When I had wblind v3.1 and tried to "ADD a Inclusion" to skin yahoo msngr then wblinds would skin yahoo msngr BUT would not skin any other "Window" on my computer I don't think you understand the problem.

I know exactly what you're talking about dear. There is no exclusion in the exclusion list for Messenger, but if you have WB3 installed there are several "hidden" exclusions that are listed in the wbdg.ini file. Just open the file up and you'll see a section for Messenger/Pager. Delete that section, save it and your messenger will be skinned. Just try it.

Ok..... I need help! Please.... I installed the wblind v3.2rc6?

So far I'm contstanly getting a Explorer error using the display properties box and yahoo msnr and shuts these
windows down.>
"general protection fault in module DIBENG.DLL at 0003:00000Fa9.

There is more problems but this needs attention first.

What do I do now?

Yes all my programs work by holding the Ctrl down, by doing that causes that program not to be skinned...... I can't open any program with out this error and shuting the program down...... What the hell is wrong that frogboy bailed out this problem, it was his suggestion first

If you ask me not a thing has changed with this version from the first day it came out and I couldn't use it..... Us W98 sec edtion are to on the back burner, and you done nothing to solve the problems. Your devotion is only for WXP users

Hmmm... that is really odd.... I have been testing RC6 on ME and a 98 box, and neither are having problems. I also have seen no reports on a problem with that particular sysytem dll, so I can assume that there is more involved here.

Have you tried uninsatlling WindowBlinds, reboot, reinstall then reboot? Are you getting any other errors? Do you have any other Desktop enhancements running?

Is anyone familiar with DIBENG.DLL? I'm not familiar with it. It appears to be a system dll, but not sure what it does.

Yes javabrain I uninstalled wblinds rebooted and shut down my zonealarm and AVP scanner and then downloaded and installed wblinds3.2rc6 again, then rebooted.... also there is a enclusion on zone alarm and I have added a enclusion on my AVP scanner..... and still the same problem DIBENG.DLL and shuts down the program window. i also still can not get into Displays properties window either, but again if I use the "Ctrl" button I can enter and use any program I'm disgusted......

What graphics card? It's most likely display drivers. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q235618
has info on it. Try changing back to standard VGA and see if that fixes it. If it does then you need to change your drivers. Either upgrade to the most recent or downgrade to the last official non-beta release of the drivers.

pjpowell.... I think I found the correct driver Intell 82810 but some how I messed up in trying to remove the present driver and installing the new one and ended up with no driver, I ended up with a black screen and try to correct the problem through safe mode and failed. So I had to use my recovery disk

Well after all this, I decided wblinds 3.2rc6 is not worth the aggravation for some one who don't give a shit about one's computer, freeskins/free beata testers, even Cathy Lee at least paid here slave workers some thing! ...... I did not make any atempt to upgrade my driver, a little scared to now, so I just installed wblinds version 3.1 and works great no problems with it acting up and causing so much trouble, and davad70 I also removed the code for yahoo messenger and it does skin it, just like you said......

Why in the hell frogboy don't you take care of your programs errors, don't you understand them, or does the skinners have to do everything for you...... its realy disgusting that you want the skinners to skin your product for FREE and do all your work for a contest..... why in the hell should us skinners have to download 70+ skins to test and not yourself or the judges for your contest that the rules keep changing all the time, don't us skinners do enough, all you do is "lurk" and plant a seed for a war that you seem to love on these message boards....... needless to say I'm fedup......
