How do I register a "proper" nickname?

Can I change my "nickname" in the WinCustomize community to something slightly more "cool" than my real name... anyone advise me on how is it done?

/me does actually have a "real-life" nickname (not registered here) which is "Loidiboid" - perhaps this nickname can be registered for him by some kind elder who knows how?
