Something to celebrate... maybe.  Sis has finally gotten her own place!  That means maybe she will start tending to her own life!  This is the first time I have had some hope in that direction.  Even over there she has dominated my thoughts... stirring up controversy among all of us.

Sorry I have been away so long!  I have been up to my eyeballs in work and stuff since I got back from medical leave. 

And, now I have another ill doggy.  He has some sort of liver disease that we don't know what it is.  So, now I have a dog with Cushings, one with liver disease and 2 healthy (so far) dogs.  This dog is over 9 years old, and he is my oldest dog, so the situation is a bit tough.

How is everyone doing?  Glad to hear that things are looking up GM!

Bringggggggggg...........riiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg. Bong, bong, bong. Arugha. BWAAA. Whooooopppppppppppppppp. The Old Crab rolls over and hits the snooze button. Pulling the covers up over his head he thinks to himself "Whoooooooooaaa, those chocolate ales are really strong. IT CAN'T BE SEPTEMBER FIRST ALREADY!!!!". Old Crab rolls over and peers out his Treehouse bay window and see's strange multi-colored leaves. What the hey? Upon closer examination the clock reads - SEPTEMBER 21. SEPTEMBER 21! WAAAAKKKKKKAAA. @%*#&@%! (French for............you don't want to know). Old Crab races to the elevator. Too slow! With great leaps and bounds he decends the five floors to the Grand Hall and throws open the kitchen doors and ......grabs red and a black licorice whips from their racks. SNAP! CRACK! UP! UP! #$^@^&#^! Everyone up! Come on you lazy crazy laid off Keebler elves! It's SEPTEMBER 21! We're late! We've got to plan for HALLOWEEN! There's orange and purple lights to put up! Black garland to festoon the grand stairways and most of all we've got to get the HALLOWEEN TREE dressed! We've got to get the cobwebs hung too! NOW! Keebler elves to your cooking stations, I want pumpkin pies by the Bakers Dozen, candy treats so sweet they'll cause your teeth to rot just by looking at them, and most of all carrot cake! Old Crab madly runs out the front door and immeadiately begins thumping his pumpkins.....ahhhhhhh, the thump is just rigth!. He dashes to the candy corn field.......great, no nasty crows and corn ears will be ready to harvest soon. Old Crab runs to the Vineyard. Thank the Great Pumpkin! The twizzler and gummy bear vines are laden with candy. Back to the Treehouse to check the sub basement and the chocolate mushroom crop. Uh oh he says. Well people the chocolate mushrooms have a little bit of white on 'em but ain't no farmer is perfect. Oh joy! HALLOWEEN'S COMING!

Thanks, KG.  It is good to get the idea that sis was going to be settled... but what was I thinking?  Sddenly I have lots of sending and fetching and calming her down via e-mail.  Putting out all the itsy fires before they rage.

if you install winXP sp2, which then breaks your firewall, so you then have to try out a new firewall, and it blocks all of the scripts, etc, at wincustomize...

well, if all of that happens, when you type in a long post, and then press one of the smiley buttons next to the posting hole, the page goes away, your post is lost, and there is nothing you can do to recover it *sigh*

this keeps on happening, every time you try it. you have to go on an exciting journey deep into the bowels of the firewall settings to get around it.

/me wonders if fuzzy would make a good torch?
