Ruthven - Y'know, I'm not sure what I find more surprising. The fact that this thread is still around and going strong after over two years, or the fact that it's a lot of the same people posting when I poke my head in every few months!

these two statements are actually the same statement. this is our home, a place of love and respect. it was born when wincustomize felt like a totally different place, but we continue in our way, and with our traditions. the idea is to keep one thing constant and sacred for my dear and special friends.

i view my contribution to this thread as my contribution to this site. i dont skin, and my plugin dll's are still a work in progress. so, this is my way of giving something back to the community.

goodmorphing - I have started in again, cleaning stuff out of here. ...how did all this stuff get in here any way? Well, one at a time she carried stuff in and was too sensitive for me to carry it back out. Today I started on the lani, and carried out bag after bag! Next mail off all her stuffs. And in the meantime, I sleep, then nap, then sleep some more. It feels so good! to be honest, we have long known that certain colours are more popular than others. also, most rating seems to have very little to do with the technical merits and artistic skill of the skin. instead it seems to be about "what do i like", which in a way is fair enough.

ultimately, surely sensible comments are more meaningful than a simple number?

the tech support call about shoes not working lulled me into a false sense of security, so i opened a second thread. it seems that people are noticing that we can hardly move for "why don't my shoes work" threads, and that SO many of the new posters don't seem to know how to read. still, there is a general and (it seems) pervasive air of aggressiveness around here these years - well it feels like years anyway. what ever happened to the message board that was mostly full of respect and kindness?

however, i have been able to see a solution to all of this, taking account of all of the lessons we have been so carefully studying
