I have a plant, too. And a plastic Iguana eating an elk, and a bobbing head armadillo, and...well....some other odd stuff. I should bring my camera in to work one of these days and take a picture of my desk. It's an interesting place!

The best part of the lava lamp is the top. It was either broken or missing (can't remember) so my daughter and I made one for it out of papier-mache (used a shot glass for the form). She then decorated it with glitter. It's pretty funky, but I like it!

Um, I've seen a pic of your desk before. Looked messy then without the new additions. Suppose you still have room for your coffee cup

I went into work last Friday (to hand in my sick note) and my desk is clear. I don't know if that is good or bad!
They seem to have figured out how to work my heavily customized pc - everyone has basic W98, mine looks 'slightly' different

KarmaGirl, how is that new MonteCarlo doing? Do you like it? I have been looking at cars and considering buying one. My husband likes big cars that I call "Oceanliners" I like sports cars. I would kill for a Firebird. So we usually compromise with something mid-sized that looks a bit sporty.

FL, my desk is cleaner now. I have a *much* smaller monitor than then.............It's still messy, though....

jebland, I *love* the Monte Carlo. It has a real sporty feel to it, and it gets fairly good mileage (which matters since I live 55 miles from work). I have the SS, which I would recommend over the kinda' doggy LS. It is *not* a small car. It's bigger than my old Lumina and really fills up my half of the 2 1/2 car garage. I also got the leather option with heated seats, which is nice for the cold Michigan mornings (I'm so spoiled!). It is the best car that I have owned (and I have owned quite a few). It has a really tight sports suspension in it, which I like. It also has really nice features like radio controls and cruise control on the steering wheel (which is leather wrapped). Also has a very well designed interior. Very nice to drive. Has a lot of low end torque, so it has a lot of "get up and go". (OK, I'm done with my Monte Carlo ad )
