Being female, and knowing that when we are trying to hide something (which I'm not saying that she is- this is all speculation here) that we tend to "protest too much" (as Shakespeare would say). There are two lines that jump out at me:
1) "i need to tell you the truth one of these days"
2) "like i told you, I went over to Wal-mart, and forgot to turn on my phone, like usual"

Is there something that she does that you don't like her to do that she might be doing?

I would definitely ask her what that first line means. It sounds like she is trying to tell you something important, but really doesn't know how to approach the subject. I would think that it is nothing very bad though, since she ended it by saying that she loves you. Best thing to do is talk to her about it. Women are hard to figure out, sometimes. Heck, sometimes we can't even figure ourselves out.

How old is Bryan? (Which I assume is your son)? He sounds like he is at one of those fun "won't go to sleep" stages. My daughter used to be so bad that I had to hold her tight and rock her until she would finally give up and go to sleep. Kids sure are a lot of work when they are young!
