Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

/me wonders where we could find a volunteer to tuck JavaBean into bed, so that she could take a nap

Fuzzy Logic - feline has 4 paws AND a tail with a ticklish end - 6 things to tickle with?

/me can be *even* more devastating than that when i am in the mood!

goodmorphing - Thanks for my bubblewrap skin! It feels good hearing the plastic bubbles getting burst instead of my own! Sigh... I shall need another one for tomorrow, please. Bubblewrap skin, that is.

/me wonders if wrapping GM in a really thick layer of marshmallow would work?

/me *MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM*
/me thinks about edible GM's, drizzled in chocolate sauce!

geez...I'm so *tired* I even spelled it incorrectly before. I really need a nap. Woke up too many times last night for no reason. Only had a maximum of 6 1/2 hours of possible sleep to begin with. zzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

hey kg...great subject and nice expression. You should pull her right should away from the background with a top light or back light or something, but it's a georgeous photograph. I'll do your cabinets if you do my family portrait.

Looks like you did as well in spelling as I did
Yeah, i really need to work on the lights. I've never done this before, and she was bouncing off the walls while I was trying to shoot. Ended up prying my camera off the tripod and shooting free. I'm actually amazed I got anything good out of the shoot. I'm also amazed that her hair isn't more messed up. She kept rubbing the toy dog on her head causing her hair to stand out all over.

You did a good job! Little kids have got to be the hardest subjects... I think you caught her spirit!

KG you get as much sleep as that - wow! I average about 5 hrs... I don't know what I do with the time. I'm either here or or at work ( sad b*****d). Tonight I've been in the pub, so if my writing's a bit wonky that's why

Like the pic. The colour of the clothes and background is a perfect match and the pose is spot on. I can't tell this is a first attempt and I have been in many studios.

Lights can be tricky as you have guessed. For the pics I have on DA Angie had one light, Jodi had three and Tracy(formal portrait) had nine...!!! Best thing to do is play around with them till you find something you like. If you want some lighting ideas let me know.

Wow. Here I am at work, 7:30 am and I don't have a hangover - amazing

/me is not fuzzy today...

/me warns fuzzy that sometimes ... frequently .... clarity can be hazardous to your health. Suggests that you refrain from quick impulses like walking away from your job that suddenly doesn't make any kind of pleasure-feelings within.

/me has learned that she will be needing at least 25 bubble-wrap skins since the doctor claims he has no idea how to fix the problem and has called in a busy specialist who has no time until Dec.3.

I don't know if I can stand it that long. It is probably a torn rotator cuff... or something like that.

werewolf - the following is a screencap of an irc conversation

/me wonders if now would be a good time to mention the PQL

i have inherited the deeply responsible job of recording all the *really* good quotes that get made at work. someone has just uploaded it to their web page!

however, i am not sure that i should post a link, since some (well, quite a lot really) of the quotes arent really suitable for children.

they are deeply funny though

advice welcome. i could always just email the link to interested parties instead?

Fuzzy Logic is not fuzzy today...

this is technically known as being "knurd". a suitable quote from Terry Pratchett is:

Knurdness is...
The opposite of being drunk, its as sober as you can ever be. It strips away all the illusion, all the comforting pink fog in which people normally spend their lives, and lets them see and think clearly for the first time ever. Then, after they've screamed a bit, they make sure they never get knurd again.

/me thinks we need to be on hand with lots of tickling and spanking to help fuzzy recover from this unsettling experience!

JavaBean - I uploaded my first ever studio portrait on Deviant Art. Please let me know what you think.

*ooh*
it is that cute little baby JavaBean again

i think a couple of the pictures with all of her hair sticking out in strange directions would have been fun as well catch her spirit in action sort of thing

/me thinks that we should just wrap GM up in lots and lots of soft wrapping, and then secure her into a great big bed in the middle of the chocolate forest

if we leave her feet sticking out of the bottom, we can tickle them to help keep GM happy!

and since the bed is nice and large we can bounce up and down on it, using it as a stand-in bouncy castle for the times werewolf isnt around

and there will be lots of chocolate on hand to feed her!
