Trillian 7.1

Thought I would bring this to the "board." May I ask at the same time, since it has nothing to do about skinning, is it appropriate to mention issues other than skinning to this board? I am interested to find out if anyone has tried the "new" Trillian, and what they think of it, am not real sure it is XP compatible, any thoughts?

Thanks.................

I've been using it since .70 came out running XP and haven't had any problems at all. Much improved over .65...no major improvements, just much more stable and refined. Haven't tried .71 that was released today, looks like the only major new feature is group chat which I doubt I'd ever use. Not a whole lot of skins that are totally compatible with .70 and up yet, but there are some really good ones. Even the default skin is very nice, much better than the old default.

I use Trillian at work (Stardock) and I love it! It is a great app and when version 0.70 came out, I posted the announcement on Wincustomize.
Whenever possible, I try to support Independent Software Developers and especially those that create skinnable applications.

In reading up on this spftware, is states to exclude 7.1 when using WB. Just for your information, seems to be something different from 7.0?

I loved .65 but I hated that it didn't support file transfer over ICQ so I had stopped using it (yes, I use ICQ a lot for work and we transfer files a lot among graphic artists and programers). Now that .70 supported file transfer I started using it again. I really love it, now I can keep in touch with my friends on the different networks with just one software.
