Tell me what you think of this

I have done a series of  wallpapers called Be mine and there is four of them but with different colors they are for valentines day. I did them all 1024x768 and all in on zip  so that you can pick and choose which one you want, the only reason is that  it saved time  rather than doing them all separately.... feed back and comments greatly appreciated.

That's very nice work, Shaunna. The only problem I can see is the size of them. I don't think 1024x768 is that common for monitors these days. Take a look at some of the wallpaper sizes in the wallpaper galleries and see what size they are. I use 1920x1080 myself, though it may be different for others.

Mine is 1600 x 900 and they all look great. Should resize without a problem.

1680x1050

And zip 'em up together.

But Po' and Harley (who are serious wall artists) would tell you to make them huge (while you're creating them). Take a peek at the wall sizes in Po's latest...

*edit: 1920x1080 should be added as well.

Always easier to resize down than up. I've never understood how you'd create a wallpaper image at 16:10 ratio and resize it to 16:9, or 4:3 though.

Here's a handy chart to show aspect ratio and screen resolution.

If you make a large size for each aspect ratio, they will downsize just fine. So, nice walls and I vote for 3 sizes.

4:3= 1600x1200

16:9=1920x1080

16:10=1920x1200

Thanks for the feed back I have resized them at, 1600x1200, 1680x1050,1920x1080, and 1024x768 hope these are ok

Ok here we go, I am about to upload them now, I am keeping everything crossed that they make the front page as I have gone to a lot of effort  and  sweat  and tears  over it as to weather they are good enough to upload here, I hope so [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]   wish me luck lol [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:-"[/e] ........ Might be a bit late now, but my advice would have been to include versions with no text on them. Many people don't like text on their walls. (Although I am often guilty of it myself.... lol)

These are amazing mrs_starkers. I like the 3rd the most it gives off a very warm feeling with passion. But I agree with BoXXi too. Text on a wallpaper isn't so good unless it's a logo of some kind. Here is another preview of a new wallpaper I have finished, I call this one  Pods, I am ready to upload this and it does come in the sizes that have been recommended by some of you.

Don't ya just hate it when your looking to find something and you know you got ? yeah well its happened too me  for the life of me i can't find the flame i used for pods, so i could re color it, looks like i will have to find another way of recoloring hmmm [e digicons]:-"[/e] [e digicons]X|[/e] [e digicons]:grin:[/e]

 after some searching I found it , and here are the updated versions,

1st one is the purple , 

2nd one is the red one

 

and the 3rd is the blue one
