This is THE best site! (except for all the XP crap. May I take this opportunity to apologise for all the XP crap.....I'm sorry about all the XP crap, but I didn't make any of it, and I am apologising on behalf of those that did make the XP crap, I'm sure they meant well, and they are probably on medication, so don't hold it against them. Actually, I made two XP walls, but they were JOKE walls, I repeat, JOKE wallpapers!! I purposely made them really crappy to see if people would still download them, and they did!!
I have since deleted one of them, as people were thinking it was a serious attempt at a wall, and giving me serious advice as to how I could make better walls! The other is still alive and kicking, it's the XP Dyslexia version, and I'm leaving it there as my own personal protest against XP crap. I am on a personal mission to make people see the error of their ways, and use themes by Treetog and Dangeruss and Alexandrie, and maybe even ME!

Guys, don't go overboard; you don't have to make it look good to be featured in the top 10. As long as it has the two magic letters in the name.

Right now, the top 10:

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who is sick of all this XP stuff! Ugghh. I'd really like to see more non-XP stuff, but that's what seems to be in 'vogue' right now.

Hopefully this 'phase' will pass.

Of course not. This is not about you, Alexandrie. It's about people being hypnotized by the two magic letters.

First of all, let us remember that skinners make skins for themselves first.

Windows XP was just released. People are excited about it right now just as they were exxcited about Aqua.

Alexandrie has made some of the most original skins ever made. And some of her very recent submissions are very original. Consider her "Blue" skin (bleu). There's nothign Windows XPish about that title bar. It's an original design.

Right now, with XP so new, people want skins that handle the XP start bar and that gives an advantage to skin authors that do it. SkinStudio in a week or so should simplify this process.

Moreover, ObjectBar will be able to use WB XP Start bars so that will increase the reason to support it.

Right now I"m running Essorant's Progressive skin. But I have really enjoyed running XP Wood and XP Copperish. They look nice.

I will like them more if they support Smartbars in future revisions.

Skins for XP are fine - it's all of the skins out there that mimic the XP look that I'm sick of.

I suppose its too late to get on the BoXXi bandwagon
