Site slow? Or just me?

it is not just you I noticed for the past week or maybe less it has been a little slow.... might just be the high traffic and WinXP release, but who knows... Oh maybe the admins

hard to even get into the threads at all...

We're in the process of copying data from Verio to UUNet (our new hosting provider). Verio is in Michigan, UUNet in Georgia and all being done via remote control.

definetly understandable, and good luck with the transfers Frogboy. It is not like there are only a few megs to transfer.

It's been slow for me since it's introduction. I'm in California and I even have a broadband connection.

Can't help you SpaceGhost in that case. Things may change once we're on UUnet since the route to the site will completely change.

Is the move why new submissions don't show up yet?

Something is wrong! it's over 12 hours since Trans and I uploaded our XP walls. I don't know why the admins haven't posted a note about it, but there have been NO new submissions since FoF uploaded his "Moppy" theme, and that was AGES ago!

Hmmm, I don't see anything in the inbound from Boxxi. You may want to reupload it.

We've deifnitely had some problems with scripting in the last 2 days. Part of the site is on UUnet, part is on Verio.

I just re-uploaded again, and still nothing appears. There is deinitely something amiss in the scripting.
I'm going to bed, and hope it's all fixed in the morning.

The site has been very slow for me.I am on broadband but yet this is the slowest site to come up.Its almost like being on a 56k modem trying to access the site lately.Are you guys done moving yet,becouse if you are the server is very,very,slow!Lately i have had to go to other sites to get themes which sux becouse i like THIS website! Hopefully it will be fixed.

BoXXi...all should be well....we ended up with a back-log of squillions of submissions that got caught in limbo...even the moderated stuff came back to haunt me....;(
But all is well now...
