BootXP and CursorXP have problems with SP2

Well, ever since I installed SP2, when windows s loading, I will see the default boot screen for a few seconds then the selected bootxp screen will kick in. Then when I get to the login screen (which is fine), byt cursor is default until I login. Anyone else have this issue?

I've always experienced your Cursor XP problem, even with SP1. As long as it changes back to your selected Cursor XP theme after login, things are okay. It's Microsoft XP problem. Only runs "system" cursors prior to Starting Windows/Login. At least that's been my experience with both XP Home and XP Pro and SP1 and SP2.

Of course you see the default cursor on the logon screen. CursorXP isn't running yet.

although i guess its possible to write a bootup script to start cursorxp before actually logging in then you won't see default fursors at login screen... but im not sure how that would go

and if bootxp is having issues, try downloading a different version, a lot of people report success with one of the earlier versions, i think it was 0.65 or something..., there was a thread here a while ago.

BootSkin will have problems when installing SP2 with restart. Go to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb[ln]873159

I had the exact same prob with BootSkin after SP2, and I simply reinstalled it, same version and everything. Works perfectly now.
