SysMetrix IP Configuration

I am connected to a home network and my IP address is 192.168.0.2.

If I try to configure the network in SysMetrix it shows the IP address and 127.0.0.1. No NIC description, connection type, speed etc. are displayed.

As soon as I the address 192.168.0.2 the configuration window starts flickering a few time and then SysMetrix crashes.

Has anybody else had this problem and solved it?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

well, 127.0.0.1 is usually the default for microsoft loopback adapter also, if you use proxies, sysmetrix might not be able to c ur ip.

and try the newest version of sysmetrix, maaybe that will fix it if you do a clean install

Thanks for the reply,

but I am using the latest version. On my other PC everything works fine. There the information about the adapters is available (NIC description, connection type, speed etc.)

Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks again,

but I am running WinXP Pro on both computers, it works fine on one , on the other one is doesn't.

Today I recognized, that for a few seconds after starting up the system it seems to work.

I guess I have to live without that feature
