Problems with DesktopX

Yesrterday I installed DesktopX and now when I try to download themes I get a window telling me that the theme was built with a newer version of DesktopX.

SDC version: 1.32.275
DesktopX version: 2.10

I went to Stardock to check and this seems to be the latest version?!

Any suggestions?

Didn't plan on being back so soon, but do you know why I'm getting "Page cannot be displayed" on the left of SDC? Click on my name, please.

Everything else is working fine, though.

Yeah...this is a memory test.

'member what I told you about the cookie thingy in SDC. You're logged out, Honey

What??
I'm writing this from SDC and it says "Welcome Lady Aarielle", and when I click the software button it shows page cannot be displayed.
Also, when I open IE I'm logged in there as well.
Am I missing something?

Probably not....open both and see if you still get that page error...my guess is you won't. The cookie thing is like a turn style door. I've been in WC or SDC and just changed threads and it refreshes my cookies....why????

....beats the hell out of me

I'll go sign out of both and see what happens.

Do strange things just happen to me???

I logged out on IE and SDC, then I killed the cookies. Then I click on SDC icon to open it and I'm signed in already.... that's not supposed to happen is it?? I expected to have to sign back in?!

No, it uses the IE engine (the cookies are one and the same). In a perfect world, you should be logged into the site no matter what you use.

....now stop playing with it before you break it...

Then I must be in a perfect world cause I'm signed in no matter what I do!! Yeah, right!

My perfect world doesn't like "the page cannot be displayed", showing... aaarrrgh CAN'T get rid of it.

I'm using the beta so I can't replicate what yours is doing. I did, however, notice you don't have Component Tray installed...you need to do that. Click on the more button and a bunch of additional apps will pop up. Also check the other software tabs (Misc, Free Stuff) and install what you might want....

....play with the different settings and tabs in SDC and I think that screen should correct itself. If you didn't re-boot after that install of SDC...you need to do that. If it keeps doing it, I'll tell you how to dump SDC completely and re-install so it works....sometimes it leaves stray files in it's temp folder.
