WB7 & Pale Moon

PPx Frame Issue

I'm new to Win7 (Pro 64bit) so this may have been discussed elsewhere (I searched the forums but came up empty).

When I apply a skin with PPx frames Pale Moon gets very unhappy - Title Bar flickers and the Navigation Bar Right-Click menu won't open.  Once I revert to a skin with non-PPx frames, it's fine.  True with 7.0 & 7.3 versions.

This a 'known' issue?  64bit only?  Presumably, a Per Application exclusion with a non-PPx skin would be a workaround, but not ideal.

Thanks!

Do Per App exclusions not work in WB7?  I set a specific non-PPx skin for PM but it ain't being used.

The IETab plugin for PaleMoon also repeatedly crashes when a PPx skin is being used.  I can't get a Per App skin to apply to PM so I'm having to use a non-PPx skin for now.

I was having trouble with Pale Moon when I first installed Windowblinds 7. I switched to Firefox, but I still needed to change a setting to get things to work right. Go to settings and in the settings tab deselect/remove the tick from the option 'Do not use per pixel frames even if the skin supplies them'. On older skins, I noticed that the maximise button on Firefox would disappear once it was clicked, seemingly giving no way to press maximize again and return the window to the normal size. If you have this problem, try dragging the window from the top, and it should return to the size it was prior to maximising it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Starcandy.  That option is not ticked by default in WB Config here.  And the PPx skins I've tried are all Win7 skins.

Palemoon needs to be treated as Firefox and WB isn't detecting it correctly.

The next update will resolve this.
