Need help with "Control Center"??

I'm not sure what I did but I double clicked on something in "Stardock Central" and the bar on the right side of my desktop appeared.... (Control Center?, I think ) the one with the four blue windows, and I have no clue what it is.
Could someone please tell me what that is or give me a brief description of what it is for.
It looks interesting but I'm not sure how to use it.

It is just another type of sidebar.The 4 windows are to switch between multiple desktops. I never found it very useful. Skinning it is easy and it's a good way for someone to get started skinning. It isn't very different from DesktopX, just a bit more basic.

Thank you for the explanation, I've been playing with it and I see your point.... not very useful. Maybe it's me but the windows don't do anything... they just remain blue.
