BattleFiled 1942 and Object Dock

I have a problem with battlefield and object dock. After a reboot the icon will not work, when clicked it glows for a few seconds and stops. I brig up the dock item properties and it is still pointed at the right exe. I browse to the very same exe and it, click ok and then click the battlefield object dock icon and it will work. But if I reboot I have to re-point the icon to the exe. Anyone else have the problem? It is only Battlefield no other app. has this problem.

Dont link to the exe instead, try linking to an existing shortcut for battlefield. I had to do that on mine and it hasnt given me any problems.

I did that and it worked.I made short cut to the SAME BF1942.exe and put it in My Docs and linked it to the O/D icon and it stays after re boot. I just got a new hard drive and reformatted and I thought last time I solved it another way. Anyway, thanks for the tip.
