Today i found some time to start the new windowblind its streching fine and even the taskbar is sizeable without getting out of shape and the gradient is also smooth be it on top or bottom
i just picked my old startbutton meanwhile but im working on that next and will post more if its more complete just wanted to give you a short look how it looks like when in use

haha yeah but i always make stuff in advance knowing that there will be problems but they look so damn good in photoshop -until that is if you puzzle the pieces together in skinstudio if there would be a live stream of me working with SKS you would probably see me scratching my head or biting the table all the time.

Watch out for splinters. Just in case you should probably make an appointment with a carpenter.

BTW...blind looks great.

rolo will be back tomorrow he was here today and we fixed his pc up i had another gtx580 and i didnt need it so...
Hopefully if he doesnt melt that one he will be back soon after installing and updating everything

First off sorry to everybody that downloaded the skin i messed up and uploaded the wrong zip file now that i have redone every thing i spottet something else.
I use a program called DAemon tools i mainly use it to mount images of my dvd´s that i need for Zbrush materials premade meshes ( busts ).
I noticed when i open the program it is not skinned correct it uses parts of the taskbar parts from my teamspeak sometimes and icons i dont know why it is doing that i never had this problem before i already tried using my normal frames substyle but its still behaving like this.Maybee someone knows whats going on or what has to be fixed since i have no clue all i see is that as soon as im hovering over the caption or the close max restore min buttons its breaking into something like this.

i dont know if its the windowframes or the buttons itself i already tried normal diamond buttons same result with or without glow i have tried normal window frames same result its only happening when i mouseover or resizing the window.
Im sitting here since last night trying to fix it with no luck.
Strangely it works on all my other skins even on windowsucker so it cant be windowframes can it

jupp the funny thing is it looks normal when i open it- but as soon as you resize that window or come close to the close max minimize buttons it goes nuts
I already tried changing things to fix it since yesterday but having 2 jobs atm doesnt make things that easy and im very low on time maybee im missing something but i dont know what.
The skin works fine for me so far the only problem is the right click for this prog and this + i will have to make different progress bars.
i thought it has to do with the windowframes but then again it even works flawless with my old skin.
And yes it something you defenitely dont want to spot when your skinning.The bad thing is I DID
When it does this stuff it shows me parts from every possible open program including parts of the taskbar teamspeak and picture from my internet cache foldereven videos.

mhh im not a skinner but this looks like its trying to use a file a file that is missing...

I really don´t understand anything you´re saying.....  Seems to be a jungle of problems... I would re-install everything, check the whole system with all I got. cc, reg fix and malware.... To actually FIND and SORT what ever the hell things that´s causing this "nuts"-situation looks like a Mission Impossible...  TO ME at least.

I have heard this being done but I have never used it but I believe there is a way to exclude programs from applying windowblinds. Look at WB, under "settings" and "per application".

thats true gmc i did that but its not my main goal to prevent windowblinds from skinning it...BW you can also pick a specific skin that is able to skin it and even that works.
i just wonder why it is working on 7.2 but not on 7.3 sadly i cant downgrade...

Iam trying to be honest it looks like mission impossible to me also but its not a virus or malware thing thats for sure , its a skin related bug or a problem with wb7.3 i dont know yet but i will find out . My guess is that the frames cant size propperly and thats why its doing that or the button location.

rolo, windows 7.3 is far less forgiving than 7.2 it shows all mistakes sad but true.

either way if i were you, i would be taking a good look at your skin bit by bit and working out what is wrong with it and adjusting it correctly,.

you probably got painting margins and probably other stuff wrong.....just check everything okay, if not start a new thread, you probably wont get many answers on your own wip thread.

good suggestion Vampothika i will do that - i also think it has to do with margins but as i mentioned i made a substyle with nice and round edges no fancy extras just a gradient and its doing the same stuff on it.

I did a cursory check of the blind and encountered no problems to which the thread mentioned but I also don't use the program that he's referring to.

im ready for round 2 just making sure i got the correct zip this time made a couple of adjustments to margins and so on but all in all im pleased
