The name might be an issue here too ;)

There are no blinds in the WC gallery called Dominion. I checked before I named it.

No, but it could very well be present with anyone who have downloaded it while it was in our gallery. =)

Should have been named "Magic Pink", Snowy  ....  but it is what it is. If the skin isn't in the Gallery, was it taken down by its author? Does he/she still have an account her... a knotty problem.

Lady X - I did a search for "Signet" and "Dark Signet"... and it came up empty... with that wonderful start button and top bar, "dark Signet" was the first name which actually occurred to me when I saw this...

Hope your birfday was exceptional....because that's the way this skin looks to be.

Anyway the .wba for Pas' dominion skin is called DOMINION - 1.wba, so there would not be a conflict on installing

Lady you are really wicked with your designs. Wicked meaning fantastic and out of this world.

Really nice Xiandi... Dominion is perfect for it as well..

I've been hoping.. and don't take this wrong please, that you might start to slim down the elements of your themes.. because graphically they are great and size may deter some folks away from using\buying them.

Otherwise top notch X.

:sun:

Edit. Not sure that size of logoff button can be used in Win 7. At least not in the win 7 section, I guess u could get away with it, carried over from other OS's. Just note that a lot of folks change the function of the left button in Win to log off, lock, shut down etc.. and with no text, it can be confusing.

Sorry, just the niggler in me :hot:

What elements are you referring to? I skin for me, what I like, and so far, it seems like there are quite a few out there who like it that way. Stealth Drone was pretty large too, and it's doing pretty well, actually.  :sun: I'm sure that I'll make slimmer blinds in the future, but I like this one like it is.

You're assuming that the silver part is part of the actual button.  ;) I've never changed the function of the left button, and have no idea how, but if they change it, wouldn't they know what it's function is? (not being a smart ass here, just asking a question, since I've never done it before)

I didnt expect u would change the size of this, its obviously too far along.. I'm just saying, as well, as something may be doing.. it could always do better. In my experience anyway.

If its not a button, then the point is moot, as far as 'would they know what it does'?... well, you would think, but there have been times, even I have changed mine to logoff, forgotten, thought i was locking my PC instead and logged myself off, in the process, losing what id been working on.

Just saying.

Both comments were only intended to help.. from my experience.

btw, changing the button is as simple as right clicking > properties.

I understand that the smaller the image the less detailed it can be, and the harder it is to keep detail the harder it is to stay original but I know you have it in ya (in the future).

..and don't feel singled out Cyndie.... I've been beating IR down about it for years too

Super skin regardless

Thanks Rolo! Thank you Bryan! Just crawled out of bed, need some coffee and I'll get back to it. I should have enough of it installed to show something in a bit.

I respect your opinions and your work as an artist But I have to respectfully disagree. There are many slim designs in the gallery and I think the out of the box designs Cyndie makes is just what is needed to liven up the gallery. If a person is using blinds in the business world  I can understand the need for slim lines so as to not distract form the work being done.
But for the average PC user Cyndies designs bring visual Fun to the desktop. I love her ability to take her artistic ideas and blend curves and angles with straight lines to produce beautiful and functional Blinds.

Also knowing Cyndies imagination  slim lines just don’t cut it. If you look back at the work of the older masters you will see the same type of artwork. Bold designs with attention to detail.

Now with that said I am NOT implying that slim design don’t look good nor am I disrespecting any ones work.

In my humble opinion I think Cyndie should do what Cyndie does best.

Cyndie,

Your skins are ORIGINAL, UNIQUE and very very classy. I hope you don't turn in to a cookie cutter, and stay true to the artistic visions that make your skins beautiful.

I like what I see so far, but it's hard to tell what it's going to look like window-wise. I like your "style", in any case.

Taken way wrong, I was trying to helpfully put forward my own, simple views on WB design as it relates to usabilty.

no one said ANYthing about freaking cookie cutting.

forget I said anything. I wont again

Its all good.

Wow.. once again someone overstates their own importance and assumes the whole world is talking about him... damn...

I was simply complimenting Cyndie's style, nothing more.. period!

Get off your high horse John and quit reading things that people aren't saying about you.

How can anyone improve if their work is not critiqued? I learned something from your comments that I didn't know, because you said something.... so keep talking, please.
