I need some help please

I have a .gif that I would like to make into a desktopx object. I can't figure out the instructions, could someone walk me through making it?

Right click on the dx icon in the system try. Select "new object" In the properties of the new object (a blue button will appear) you will see states tab. click that , you will see a box where you can browse for your pic to replace the default blue button.

That is the basics. you can set different properties for the object as well. I am pretty sure you will need to change your gif to a bmp. I may be wrong but I dont think dx supports gifs. Each frame must be exactly the same size. Hope this gets you started.

Its very similiar to doing an animation in skinstudio except easier to configure. Under the objects properties, states, there is animation, match the number of frames in your imahe, check the appropriate settings and your all set.

OK NightTrain, it took me a while to figure out that when you convert it to a bmp, you have to line the frames up SIDE BY SIDE! I got it now and thanks for your help!!
