No big surprise here.
I'm sad to see that. I was hoping she'd get it together, felt like there was a lot of potential there.

A talented person but someone who was definitely on the edge. R.I.P
No surprise there. sad news but she had every opportunity to help herself and she chose not to.
I tend to think... genius also takes its toll on some people.

I've been expecting it. She just didn't get any better over time and drugs don't wait until you "feel" like getting your act together. Another young talent lost. So, so sad.....

yeah.... so much promise... a parent's worst nightmare.... and so talented... 
No parent brings a child into this world to see that child leave it before them. I saw what it did to my mother and father when my brother died way too early, so my heart goes out to Amy's parent at this most difficult time.... to all parents who lose a child and suffer that feeling emptiness as my parents and others like them did.
As callous as it sounds, I say good riddance. This chick was nothing but bad news, for herself and the millions of kids who followed her. Way to be a shining example for people. Next up, Lindsey Lohan.
Ya I'm a sucker, I'm still hoping Lohan gets it together before she completely implodes. I don't hold my breath for anybody though, they're going to do what they're going to do.
It's callous alright! What do you know about her, how she started on drugs, why even? As is often the case in modern society, there's always some arsewipe drug dealer looking to get another young person hooked... and Amy Winehouse may very well have been one of those victims. Yes, she ended up being a mess that you wouldn't want to be an example to your children, but you do not know her demons, why she couldn't kick the habit.
Put bluntly, you wouldn't want somebody speaking ill of your child like that, especially so soon after his/her premature and unfortunate death, so how about you think twice before speaking such ill in future.
Again, somebody else's child. Karma has a funny way of turning things like this around... so be careful of what you hope/wish for.
To put it bluntly, she was a waste of skin. The world is a better place without her.
Compassion it would seem is hard to give to others when they need it, yet we all want it when it's 'our turn'. 
Seriously, she apparently had some problems. I don't think it's a laughing matter. I feel for her and those like her.
