Quit LoL, what'd I miss?

Bought this game when it first came out and had a lot of fun with it, for a while. Problem was it was my friends that got me into it, and they were hoping for a much more DoTA like experience, which to them just meant more playable characters.

So we ended up playing League of Legends instead, which on its own is a fun game, massive community helps a lil, but I think I'm done with it, the way the company just pumps out more champions rather than pumping out anything useful to the game has more or less turned me off it completely.

Back to Demigod it is, how is it guys?

You're just in time!! Welcome back.

There are now thousands of players online and the game is completely supported by both developer and publisher. This means bugs are literally sorted out in days. Great time to be alive...

Well, doggu is being sarcastic.

First of all, please understand the total number of people actively/semi-actively playing this game is probably ~300 (~400, if we count the Gameranger crowd -- and yes, I suppose my census is quite adequate). That means you'll rarely see more than 30-50 people online simultaneously (10 ongoing games is a lot for us). Still, there are newcomers (more than you would think), and there is quite a lot of skilled old-timers hosting and playing in EU and US evening hours. Be warned: EU morning is very much dead (Europeans at work, Americans asleep).

Secondly, while GPG has long given up the support of this great game, the community patches have done the job. Please refer to the Modding section for details.

Thirdly, and most importantly, welcome back :)

Well, since Pacov has lost his motivation a little bit (temporarily, let's hope), someone in this predominantly 30+ community has to be serious, I guess.

Its still a great game.

And for the buggs, there are Mods that fix ALOT of this. Including the stupid AI.

Download Pacovs package and use when possible.

If I can choose just 2 mods that EVERYONE should use its the Fix mod and AI mod. Crazytown is nice too.

Err, yes? I'm no native english speaker so I maybe just miss your point. It seemed to me, that you were critizing Maulkins formulation, because someone can think it's pavoc work alone and not the work of many people that he has just combined in an installer package (which I don't want to degrade because it is really a great help for anyone who comes here).

Please intend that I don't want to offend anyone (exept GPG for quitting their support it seems ;-)) but my choice of words may sometimes be strange to native english speaker and they could get a false impression?

I should of course spell better and use better grammar along with checking my info, but you get the idea.

English isnt my first language. My intent was only to strenghten the use of PAVOCs package that can be found here. :-)

Whoever did what isnt really important, only that people use it cause it makes the game SO much more interesting and better.

You might try looking up "package" on www.urbandictionary.com (great site to check out slang words that usually aren't found in conventional dictionaries). ;)

Now it isn't there, sure enough, but 4-5 months ago it did proudly state 'Age: 32'. I do not have access to your personal info or anything of the kind. Maybe you just entered a random year as your date of birth, I don't know. Nor do I care, truth be said. As stated, if you are 12 (or whatever), not 32, my sincere apologies.
