The reason is that you have had a 30 day trial and that option no longer remains open to you.

Since you seem to have liked it, why not invest in it?

or just Windowblinds:

:)

When uninstalling your trial copy, use CCleaner: It's free on the web, or come back to Forums for the ODNT Zapper.

Just to emphasize:

You do need to uninstall the trial and reboot before installing the purchased version.

it hasn't expired

it says 28 days remaining but i cannot change a theme

i have read in this forum one person mentioned that when he installed windows 7 SP1 windowblinds was reporting that error (not installed correctly

click to fix this issue) but it doesn't fix a thing

Not clear on something: You can't download and apply a theme, or can't apply one which came with the trial?

the 30 dys starts when first install it and does not reset for incremental versions.

You either had the trial of WB installed on your system previously or you didn't.  Which is it?

i don't see how would that help you

you either know the answer or not

it is not expired

if you know some suggestion that i can try that would be cool couse i aint reinstalling the windows for that :)

i think some update screwed it up

i am always updating the windows

nvm i will try googling for some fix

1. You came here asking for help.

2. People offered that.

3. DaveRI asked you a simple question.

4. You started playing games and not answering.

You solve the problem.

was the other version you tried cracked?

i was reverting the time back before it expired

@DrJBHL no one suggested nothing... just talking in general for the things that i know

i gave all the informations that were needed + pictures (so far nothing usable for "click to fix it" or the dll files that i was using ...

maybe i should do a video about it so i can be perfect clear

i know you are moderators , admins and you try to answer every question but try to answer it good or leave it :)

 btw i love wincustomize themes , skins

i was using iconpackager , cursor fx , windows blinds

but now i have this problem with blinds and i have deleted everything ....

then i had some nostalgia about windowblinds and hope i can get it work but i can't

are you talking about the original poster who never came back after it was pointed out he didn't have the full version but a shareware version

or

are you talking about the guy who didn't come back and post his 'about info' after the WB Developer asked him to

p.s i had installed other version of windows blinds 7 some months ago and maybe that's why it doesn't work now

as pointed out - reinstalling doesn't reset timer

and apparently neither does setting the time back

WB 8  should come with a new timer

afaik  most OS's have issues when they come across files created 1-2 yrs in the future

Yes, Windowblinds does work on Windows 7 64bit.

The Trial WILL expire.  There is no work-around.

A pre-installed and then removed Trial, or perhaps a pre-installed and removed 'cracked' version will be the reason you cannot now get the Trial working.

The solution is to simply uninstall the trial...and purchase and install the full version.

If [that's 'if'] you strike any issues with the Full version you'll easily find help with resolution here...;)
