Paid to upgrade today 6/24 from Windowblinds to Object Desktop. Cant download!!!!

Frustrated that I can't use what I paid for hrs ago..

Paid to upgrade today 6/24, from Windowblinds to Object Desktop, but  can't download!!!! And Stardock gave me a serial number expiration date of midnight tonight!! 

I sent in my request to customer support as it says to in the e-mail if you have a problem, then here in this forum is a guy that has the exact same problem except he upgraded from desKcapes!!! So I won't repeat my problem. I noticed too that many, many people have download problems with Stardrock/Wincustomize/Impluse.... Maybe your companys target market are gamers and other high intensity PC users that love to customize their PC. But There are many...many more of us out here who don't want to make a hobby or don't have the time to troubleshoot the fact that  why can't start using their purchased software. My I suggest U make your process of buying /installing more user friendly.  Thanks

I purchased Deskscapes not too long ago. My wife told me I could upgrade to the Object Desktop as part of my Fathers day gift. I just finished paying for the upgrade and received the confirmation email and when I clicked on the download button, Nothing happens. The Address bar at the top starts to load but then NOTHING!!!! Did I just waste $40 bux on the upgrade or do I need to wait an hour or 2 more for Stardock to confirm my purchase? EVEN THOUGH they already sent me an email telling me That the order was successfully processed? Please help. I am not a happy customer at this minute.

Yes, I had the same problem that you are stating. You have to go to the impulse app. If you no longer have it heres the link. http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe

 After I purchased the upgrade and went to the impulse app and clicked on "My software" tab, Nothing was showing but my original purchase of Deskcapes. After around 2 hours And boiling like a tea pot, I went back to the Impulse app and in the "My Software" tab again, all the packages were there for me to download. I think it takes a little bit to register so Stardock can fully confirm your purchase.

 

 I do agree that they need to find a more user friendly way for this process. But thats just me. And most here will tell you I am not to bright to begin with. LOL.

Thanks for your reply. It's been about three hrs and I have been checking Impulse every 20 mins. Only things there are my Windowblinds download from April 2011 and some hidden items which appear to be some individual components of object Dock.

But now I notice in the lower right corner of the Impulse Registration list a blue button for Add A Registration. That did it.  I just added my serial number and boom there many, many individual components of Object Desktop there!!
