Help with skinstudio

Can anyone tell me why somethings show up and work in the skinstudio preview window but then after you load the skin parts are missing or not skinned. Like the windows background is skinned in preview how I want it but not when I load it and other things like buttens ect.. Im new to skinning so any info would be great.

Check your WB settings to make sure that you don't have any overrides in place and if it's only minor things like a button is showing up, but not looking quite right when using the skin, try tweaking margins a little. Also in SkinStudio....check your transparency settings. If you replaced a .tga with a .bmp, you need to uncheck transparency for the .bmp to show up.

Transparency works fine with bmp..... it's the Translucent setting you have to disable, or the bmp will be invisible when applied.
