Editing .tga (Truevision Targa) files

I was trying to recolor a .tga file for a WB skin i was messing with and I did it in Paint Shop Pro 8, but after I save the change, in skinstudio thhe file is not shown. Any Idea why?? Do I need a specific program to recolor .tga files?

not really. but maybe PSP just sucks at TGAs. no problems with either Photoshop or The GIMP.

I've noticed this symptom when using Photoshop (I know that's not what you're using) if I accidentally let it save the TGA as 24 bit instead of 32 bit. I suspect PSP has done the same thing. If there's an option for 32bit, then that's what you need...if there isn't, then switch to using PNG and make use of the auto convert to/fron PNG files that SkinStudio offers - though, I've not tried this route myself...

PSP 8 doesn't save tga properly, (it's a bug they haven't squashed yet, PSP 7 works) but since SkinStudio will now convert png to tga,and tga to png for editing, it's no lonager a problem. (Adam told he added the feature because he has a newer version Photoshop that doesn't save tga correctly.) Lucky for us.....
