Some Background colors

I all,

I'm mostly finished making a new skin but It seem that there is a background color wich I can't change. I can see that background only in some apps like Photoshop but not in Explorer... It even show up at the "end" of a tool bar here in Stardock Central. The color is light beige. I've noticed a place that may allow me to change this color in the Display properties at the Appearance page, just at the right of the "Sub Design" pull down menu. But whenever I click on the color picker button, it says It is only available to registered users (but don't say wich app.). I'm an Object Desktop registered user.

Is anyone has a hint about that before I send the question to SD support team?

Thanks in advance

Just a thought...when I was playing around with skinstudio...I had created a taskbar and it looked right in SkinStudio...but when I applied it "Beige" showed up on the taskbar....it had something to do with when I replaced a .tga with a .png, I forgot to set transparency to "no transparency"

The color you see in Photoshop is most likely the MDI Window Background color....... Open the skin in SkinStudio,

Left Tree... Miscellaneous > Colors

Right Tree... Window > Background-MDI Window

I'm not sure about toolbar thing, may be controlled by the same setting.

Hope that helps.

I already use a .bmp as a MDI bckgrnd. So this is not the problem. For the transparency suggestion, it could be that but I really don't know which file to set transparency to. But this could be my problem. Still I can't understand why it say i'm not registered...

So do I, in the skin I'm working on, and it's not showing, only the color is being applied. Could be I'm missing some other setting, but did you try it to see if it made any difference?

I use color #B6B6B6 in that part wich is not the beige color I see. And the beige is not used anywhere in the color section. It's more like a windows default maybe?!? It's why I looked in the display properties and saw that color picker button with the beige color...
