ObjectDock preferences?

Is there any way to configure ObjectDock to stay behind open program windows? The 'DOCK' always comes to the front when the cursor gets too close to the top edge of the program window and then interferes with the menu bars. I have to locate an open area of the window and click to bring it back to the front. Maybe I am just too tired and weary, but I can't find this option in the ObjectDock settings.

Open the Configuration window > Appearance tab > Position on screen >> set to "Always-On-Bottom"
If you check "Use Mouse Activation" the dock will jump to the front when you place the mouse on the screen edge in the Dock area, if you don't check it the Dock will always stay behind open windows.
