3D Vasari Character Model

Because no one has made one!

Ok, I'm not a great modeler and it's not really textured but here's a pic of a model of a Vasari as I noticed no model or even a picture of a model is to be found on the net.  It's not michelangelo--just a decent representation...and from the crappy pics that don't match there isn't a lot to go on.

Done in Milkshape and Sketchup--I'm uploading the model to Sketchup as there are no Sins models there at all.  I shall be the first! (and no, the Eve models there don't count!).

I don't think anyone did any models of characters because there is no way to get them in game.

 

But it is a good start. The geometry is a bit off.... but not too bad.

Lol--it's a free Google app.  I use it to convert file types sometimes for my Makerbot.

And look at all the pictures--the geometry is off too.  There aren't any solid, consistent, multiple views of these guys.  So this is an abstract.

It seems Vasari modify themselves for colonization and that would rationalize the varying depictions of them.  In my model, this one is wearing boots and a partial exoskeleton along with skin tight clothing and a combat helmet with respirators. A vertitable Lady GaGa of Vasari victory.

And you COULD use them in a game if you thought about it.  How about a unique "Vasari Victory" orbital platform with a giant Vasari figure...it could shoot lasers from its eyes ;)

Perhaps a real modeler now will step up to the plate but I was 1* st !  To me be the glory :star: !

Realizing it's a tough room I decided to take it up a notch with an improvement all the boys and girls will love--not to mention showing a rare image never before seen...

Vasari on a Space Pony!  Now it's double diamonds.

Lol and thanks. I am setting up a frakkin ' huge website with sms interactivity and individual user account areas and blah blah blah--makes brain melt (don't tell the zombies!).

So then, in my enhanced state of mental decay instead of sleeping I tinker with Sins modding which finishes off the few brain cells I have left.

I don't remember making that model or posting this. I think it's government mind control. Still.... I AM THE VIRTUAL PROGENITOR OF THE VIRTUAL 3D VASARI AND OWNER OF ALL SPACE PONIES AND ALL WILL FEEEAR MEEEEE!

Man...did I say that out loud?

You may scoff at my creation, but when I am able to complete tweaking my Makerbot and print plastic 3D sculptures--then you will beg at my doorstep. NOW BEG YOU FOOLS!! (I may have watched an Invader Zim episode with my son last night too).

Ok--I'm better now...really...I am. If only you could see through my eyes...then I'd want them back
