Ok, I'm moving my feedback comments here. I'm on Windows 7, 64 bit.
I really like where this app seems to be going. I imagine that it could replace the "multiple desktops for multiple contexts" paradigm that seems to be difficult to get working well in windows.
I've run into a few problems so far:
* I want to be able to pin shortcuts to folders that are related to the programs in certain tiles. Currently this leads to all Explorer windows being included in the programs listing of that tile and since I often have a good number of Explorer windows open this leads to clutter. There really should be some filtering based on the title of the window or similar so that only the relevant Explorer windows are included in a tile.
* The next problem is related. I run several applications that are java-based and with the current filtering Tiles cannot distinguish between them since the process-name is the same. Again, filtering based on the window title would solve this problem.
* Shortcuts should be copied when added to a tile. As it is, if you e.g. move a link from you quicklaunch toolbar to a tile and then remove it from the quicklaunch toolbar the link in Tiles will break!
Oh, and some further suggestions that would be really helpful:
* Support for sorting and organizing the shortcuts. It's nice to be able to add all related shortcuts to a tile but some are more relevant than others and I'd like to be able to decide which ones are listed first.
* Faster switching between tiles. E.g., have the mouse-wheel change tile when hovering over the tile-names. And/or enabling keyboard shortcuts for switching, e.g., as is common with "virtual desktops".

I'd suggest adding a color-picker for the page labels, at least when using "Match current system skin" option (one of my favorite features ) The color that it automatically pulls for the labels seems to be a little problematic, frequently dark on dark background. That's on XP if it matters. - And thanks again for including XP in this.
I'm also getting a pretty noticable flicker on the tiles. Kind of sporadic ranging from a couple of times a second to once every second or two. Could be old machine syndrome.
Amazing program. One question to the "web" tab: it shows only the browser window and not every single tab, maybe it's only a problem with my Google Chrome browser. Does this problem exist in others browsers?
An enlarged thumb view for apps in the bar might be a nice feature...to help differentiate between non grouped app windows.
But when I right click and choose configure pages, and recent apps, the thing locks up and crashes.

Opera isn't showing at all on Web page. IE is, with only the active tab.
Thats a limitation of your browser.
Your browser needs to support Aero Peek (and you need to be using Windows 7). IE8/9 do as does the FireFox 4 beta and I believe chrome can if you enable some option somewhere,

1st dont know if you caught it the other thread but I Love this I have been missing my tiles when I leave my windows phone to go back to PC!!!
I have a slight issueYou know I had to try and skin it right off the bat..lol... so I was playing with the matcch current skin feature but now every time I try and create a new skin it will only show parts from the current WB I have loaded..I cant get it to go back!
I have unistalled reinstalled 3x each time deleting the folder in the user directory so no skins are kept .Not sure what I did wrong below is an SS showing what I see.
BTW win7 64 bit

I found a way how to enable Aero Peek for Chrome (start the browse with the following parameter --enable-aero-peek-tabs)
The 1st tab will have a normal size and every other Tab is 1/4 size. Is this normal?
I created a page and titled it "drives". Opened Computer and drug my drives to the page.
It works, but the icons are not labeled.
This app works great as a taskbar alternative. As an application launcher/quick launch replacement.. not so much.
ie... can't re-label the icons, can't sort the icons.
This is normal. Tabs appear under their parent as they are really just the one application window.
I have Tiles set to show system tray and hide taskbar. It shows system tray icons fine but no date and time like the taskbar. Is it meant to show the clock/date in tiles? Would be nice if it did.
Good stuff (would be better if I had a wide-screen display) - a few bugs I've noticed (Windows XP):
- extreme flickering but only if the "Pin on top" option is turned off
- with "Pin on top" turned on it overwrites its own menus (and anyone elses menus that stray into that area)
- when "Put on left" some windows get confused about their location - the size if correct but it they seem to think that Tiles is on the right so the position is wrong (sorry, I can't be specific about which apps - it seems to be random, the same app will get it right once but wrong the next time)
- Shortcuts seem to be very flaky - dragging and dropping from the start menu just doesn't work but even if I create a desktop icon and then drag that it creates shortcut on Tiles but it doesn't work. The only types of shortcuts I have got working are if I drag an actual application executable, or document, or folder (from an Explorer) onto Tiles, or drag a web address onto Tiles.
Some ideas, thoughts and questions:
- I think someone said this already about filtering out applications you don't want but I don't know if it was said this way: If you add a filter to put a specific application on a specific page then it should come out of other pages (or this should be an option), currently everything always shows up in the "Apps" page.
- Can we be allowed to rename all of the pages, including "apps", "my tiles" and "web" pages?
- I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but the configuration menu grouping and ordering just doesn't feel right (I have to hunt around to find related options. Example "show tab in auto-hide mode" is in "Appearance" and "Auto hide" is in "Size and location"
- Once a shortcut is in place it should be possible to edit it not just open it and remove it. Even if its just to change its name.
- Erm, can someone tell me what the "Add colour tint to previews" is for? Apart from making some of the preview look a bit sickly - what do the colours mean?
- How about pages automatcally cycling (with a delay) if you move the mouse to the far edge of the screen (right when Tiles is on the right, left when its on the left).
- How about being able to drag the exposed edge out and in to show additional pages (so the bar grows and shrinks by a page at a time)
- I might not like this when I see it in action but could the snap on dragging left/right for pages be optionally turned off so it drags continuously.
Hope the above doesn't sound too negative - it's meant to be constructive - it's looking great so far.
Finally - have I missed a post somewhere where you shout about the "Tiles Skin Editor" that gets sneakily added to the Object Desktop menu.

Drag and dropped the External link from this page onto tiles. Used both Firefox(the default browser) and Explorer.
The links don't "open shortcut" from menu, get the error "Windows cannot find '...'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again."
Can't unpin the link from tiles, nothing happens
Now have two permanent links on (apps) Tiles.

When in 'Tiny' mode, I can't scroll to the next page if my title fills the width - could that be changed, please?
