Cannot download anything.

I just recently became a level 3 user here, and now I cannot download ANYTHING. I had better success when I wasn't even registered.

The page cannot be displayed

OK...one thing at a time....do you have SDC (Stardock Central) installed?

I don't believe so. Anyway, it looks like the problem fixed itself. I restarted my computer, and low and behold - WC is back on track for me. Thank you anyway!

There were spurious external server errors (when using IE to download you can see the error message on the title bar) around the time you posted. I was only managing to download around 50% of the time. I think this was at the server end nothing to do with your computer end of things.

Still can't download, looks like my profile has something to do with it (the error page url is "http://www2.wincustomize.com/showmsg.asp?cmd=MergeAccount&ReturnURL=", so I don't know..) is it a upload/download ratio maybe?

losstarot, my guess would be that you have run into the 50MB download limit. You can have access to unlimited downloads if you own or purchase a Stardock Product https://www.stardock.com/ or if you purchase a subscription to Wincustomize https://www.wincustomize.com/store/

Both options are some of the best value for your dollars you'll ever receive. Sign up!

Umm my download is currently at 7 MB. Maybe it's a limit per day for non-purchasers? (I'm a level 2 user)

There's something wrong with the site. Simple as that. I'm having the same problem, and the cap for non-puchasers is 50 MB. I'm nowhere near that.

I am also having a similair problem. I am no where near my 50mb limit and I am unabel to downlaod anything. I have tried this site on two differetn computers and on 2 completetly different domains and still no joy.

Also, how do u see how much u have downloaded?

This was posted in another thread, which I cannot find right now, but it basically said that WC is redirecting non-paying cutomer traffic (people who haven't bought a WC sbuscription or a Stardock App) to another server so that paying customers would not experience problems from too many users logged on to WC. Currently there are 900,000+ registered users at WC. I don't know what the ratio of paying vs. non-paying customers is, but I have a subscription here and have not had any download problems.
