themes fail to unload to PC

from WinCustomize Forums
running windows xp. Have MSN 9 /messenger 6.1 and MSN Accelerator.Themes from windowblinds do download correctly.but they do not unload to control panel when i click on the theme's icon in my download file.Had been working fine after all the MSN changes. this problem started two days ago. also,takes a long time to change page screens and gather theme info for downloads. any help appreciated.

Ah.. All the MSN changes, you said. Probably created some conflict with WB. You said it was working fine before that. I had a similar problem with AOL v9. So, I went back to v8. I would try a reinstall of WB. Maybe that will fix it. But, you do need to be explain your problem more clear.

Some people have also complained about WB 4.2Beta. Most computer users know that you have to be careful when installing beta programs. More experienced computer users will probably prefer to wait for a final version. As the slogan goes "if it ain't broke, why fix it?
Also, there are sometimes loses as well as gains when updating one program that uses another. Then, you have to decide if the loss is worth the gain. But, you have to explain more clear still. What isn't being skinned properly? MSN? Maybe the .cpl file got corrupted. If the problem is that the control panel isn't showing the newly installed skins after all your updates to other programs. Then once again, I would suggest a reinstall of WB. If that doesn't work, I would uninstall it, restart, wipe its directory and reinstall.
