Glassy software imaging ?

I have Macromedia Studio, Adobe Photoshop 6 and most imaging software....Please could someone tell me which software I should use (or purchase) to make the glossy, plastic looking finish which can be seen on some of the images on wincustomize.com....For want of a better discription its used to produce most of the glassy looking buttons ?

Thank you...(In advance)....Kind regards... Dune 2996

One thread per subject please......... if you're going to ask in the General section, don't ask the same thing here, or visa-versa.

you can make the glassy effect in most any decent photo editing program. the trick is to know how. its not some automated process. Well there are some plugins for photoshop that will do this, but not very well.

Thank you Travis for your help, you are always so polite and helpful.

I will search though what software I have and see if I can find this wonderful effect...Happy skinning...TX

To Koasati

Were you born rude! Do you not think it may take us newbes a little it to navigate this web site.

Your remarks always contain some snide remarks and I am sure I speak for all the community when I say either say something nicely or don`t say it at all ! >

"One thread per subject please..." Doesn't sound rude to me.

As an Admin of the site, one of Koasati's duties is to make sure that the Message Boards are readable for all of us. Duplicate posts add clutter and should be avoided.

Just a note.

(PS- Thanks Koasati!)

I'm nice, but calling other people rude is uncalled for. it makes me not nice.

Koasati has a point, he is not just throwing words into the air.

dune.... sorry if I came off as rude. Certainly didn't mean to be, but I do have a habit of being blunt, and to the point at times. Don't worry about it, it'll be OK.
