Desktop X Refresh Problem

Greetings. I am having a refresh problem using DesktopX (v1.3 Build 305 October 13, 2002). I have a custom LCARS (Star TreK) theme I made myself, on a machine with three separate video cards. Since I've added the third display adapter recently, I've noticed that the clock, some windows and program objects do not disappear or redraw themselves correctly. I have to hit the Windows Key to trigger a screen redraw, which corrects the malfunction. Three weeks ago I was running Windows 2000 Professional SP4, it was happening then. I recently formatted my hard drive and installed a new copy of XP Pro, hoping that this anomaly was limited to Windows 2000. It is still happening, with the newest nVidia driver that exists, and most of Windows detail turned down (thinking it was possibly a resource issue).

The theme is relatively simply, as it's always been. I use a 3456x864 BMP with simple text objects, and a few monochromatic resource bars. The amount of system memory being used is extremely minimal.

My system properties are listed below. I would appreciate ANY assistance.

System Properties:

Dell Dimension 4550
Intel Pentium 4 / 2.0 GHz
768 MB PC2700 DDR RAM
60GB HDD / 7200 RPM
(3x) nVidia GeForce MX420 64MB display adapters (yes, three of them, one AGP and two are PCI)
(3x) Dell 17" 171FPb Flat Panel Displays
Windows XP Professional SP1 V2002 (current OS)
Windows 2000 Professional SP4 (until recently)
Current Display (per card) 1152x864 or 1024x768

Why are you using that version?

Because I don't see many compelling reasons to upgrade, do you? Are there features that would be beneficial for those of us running three monitors? Is there better universal object control? Is it worth it?
