taskbar doesn't "blink"

Hello-

I'm using WB4 on win2000, and whenever someone sends me a new instant message (I'm using Trillian Pro 2), the taskbar doesn't blink. Is this because trillian is on my exclusions list?

If you have Trillian minimised to your sys tray.... it doesn't blink, and if it is in your windowblinds exclusions list, then it would not be skinned, and therefore not subject to the properties of windowblinds.

...someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

Minimizing the main body of Trillian won't cause the chat windows not to blink. Do you have your "Blink" setting turned off? Options>Preferences. Window Section. Top to check boxes. Blink, and Blink for 10 seconds. Checked?
