Relocation of "Turn off computer" button

I've seen a lot of good custom logon UI's. But the one thing I've yet to see is the relocation of the power down button. I've tried the software that many people are using (which by the way i think is really crappy. personally i think its better to do things manually. honestly if you don't know how to manually configure the logon UI then you probably shouldn't be messing with it. no offense. )...... any way. the reason i ask is because i am currently working on my own. i've got the whole thing down and working except for two problems. One is the power down button, which i would like to relocate to the password pane. The other problem i figure now is impossible to fix so i wont mention it.

i have succeeded in placing a new power down button next to the info button. does the whole clicky thing and everything. so my true problem now is creating a new link between that button and the "Turn off computer" dialog box.   HOW DO I DO IT???? :(O

Don't think you can...it's one of the "hard coded" things.... I could be wrong.

very true... but not impossible. i'm a person with a lot of patience. i don't expect an exact answer, but instead a hint or clue to get the wheels in my head turning in the right direction.

It's very possible. Invent a replacement to Explorer shell.
