On some Asteroids there is a bonus called Frequent Meteorites and I was just wondering: If you don't have a planet-side population how are going to collect the minerals from the Meteorites?
Cos those meteorites have probably been falling for millenia and after all that time those asteroids are going to be more mineral rich that those without many meteorites falling.
The population doesn't pick up the space rocks, the miners do. From underground from where they have been for a few good hundred years.
Population probably only refers to permanent residents. There may be workers that move on and off planet periodically.
Really, you pay too much attention to things that don't affect gameplay. You also ask for our opinions, but never offer your own.
