Can't open DXScript with DesktopX 2.0

Hello,

I'm a newbie with this very great suite of application. I use the v2.0 of DesktopX and each time i want to add a script or edit a script, desktopX shut down and a popup window open which said that an error closed the application. I hope i was clear but i'm french and i hope my english is correct

I would like to know if this problem is frequent or if you know how to correct this? Perhaps an other application create a conflict with desktopX?

Another question: is there something in the DesktopX directory links whith DXscript because i don't have any file with this name...

Please help me...

Your grammar is better than some of the people who speak english as a first language What version of DX2 are you using? The latest released version is 2.00a.012. Version 2.09[b].002 is an unreleased Beta available to Object Desktop subscribers.

it should work with that version. can you right click on the object and just get to the properties page?

Yes i can change all the properties but when i click on the the "New" button for a new script or when i want to edit an existing script (made by another person).

I recently over came this same problem. After having the obvious ( in hind sight ) problem pointed out to me on the newsgroups.

Disable the script checking in your antivirus program.
Meaning the part of your AV program that checks and stops scripts from running from webpages and emails etc...
