Two quick questions

I remade a dream and after resubmitting it 5 times, it was finally approved.  Now I would like to delete the earlier dream and leave the newly remade one. how can I do this? I know now that I should have done an UPDATE but did not realize that before.

Also, do I have to be part of an elite club in order to have my Dream in the public gallery?

Your dream appears to still be in moderation. You should get an email stating that it was either approved or rejected.

Did you get an email 5 times? If not, then it was not rejected, it was just going into the moderation que. It can take up to 5 days for the mods to review it.

I resubmitted it 5 times because, I messed up when uploading it once and the moderator had a few issues with the Quality. Finally got it good enough for approval. Yes I got the Email saying it was approved. Is there another review it must go through in order to be in the public Gallery?

Sorry if I am asking questions that have already been answered. I read through quite a bit of the forum before I posted. I am new and trying to learn. Hopefully you guys will be patient with me.

Your .dream is still in moderation, but .dreams need to have smooth transitions as if it has obvious video jerks and stuttering, then people won't download it.

I just saw that it's still not on your personal page , that means it is still into moderation !!

As you can see, It has been accepted. How come its not in the public gallery? Do I have to be a subscriber? Kinda seems dumb that I have to Pay in order to share Free dreams. I am/was planning on buying object desktop in 2 weeks. Will this qualify me as a subscriber? Would I than be aloud to be apart of the community and have my work available to share in public galleries? As far as the Quality of the Dream I submitted, I would say its OK. Not near the top of the list of other dreams but definitely good enough to be in the public gallery.

Again, I am new and just trying to understand how things work around here.

Subscriber or non-Subscriber really doesn't enter into it, Pizentu. It's all about the quality, appearance and usability of your submissions. (I have heard a few around here will take the occasional bribe 'tho) :|

Pizentu...I checked your dream out and the subject matter and overall content are good but the transition, or loop as it's normally referred to, is not. For a dream to be accepted into the public gallery it needs to have a seemless loop.

I created a loop for you with your clip to show you how it can be accomplished. Check your PM (private messages) for a link to download it. Update your dream with the looped clip and check the updated box when resubmitting. You might also want to note in the description for the Moderator, that the dream loops better so they will take that into consideration as well.

Also, here's a few links that will help you in the process.

Also, welcome to WinCustomize and the Dream Gallery.

Many uploaders here have had submissions not go to the main gallery.  Take a look at this post : https://forums.wincustomize.com/150760

You'll see some top skinners . ..  that were not always the top.

Absolutely correct. The only way to hone your skills is to be patient, honest and humble.

Not like Zubaz.  :P

Pizentu...your welcome. Glad to see it was accepted into the main gallery.

As Zubaz and Doc point out, almost everyone here has had a submission that didn't make it to the main gallery. Being a member of the Personal Page Elite is not a bad thing.

Be sure to check out some of the tutorials in the link I posted.

If you have it, Adobe After Effects is the best way to go for video editing. The CS5 version will also output to HD quality mpeg so you do not need any additional programs for editing.

Adobe has a 30 day trial that's not crippled so you could try it out and learn the program at the same time. Keep in mind it will take years of use before you completly master the program. I've used it for a few years and I'm still a student compaired to some.

Lastly, if you need a little help or want some advise, feel free to PM me.
