WindowFX & Dual Monitors

I have some problems regarding WindowFX and dual monitors on my ATI 9700 Pro.
Transitions and window dragging animations work fine on my primary monitor, but transitions are slow and doesn't display propery on my secondary monitor. Window dragging animations doesn't work at all on my secondary monitor. I've had this problem since sometime last year, just wondering if there is any way to fix/work around this problem.
I'm using WindowFX 2.11 and ATI Catalyst 3.10.

ayufan: Seems I've read a few posts on the newsgroups (I think ), let me go take a looksee ... and I'm back ...

From the newgroups (news.stardock.com, group - stardock.od.windows.windowfx):

hello,
I have found that on my geforce4 420 go 32m running multiple monitors wfx is
really very slow whereas when I am just running a single monitor wfx is
pretty snappy and fast. anyone else seen this and is there a way to make it
faster? I only use shadows and that's all.

Do you have them at the same colour depth? If you have them at different
ones it will *definitely* go a lot slower. If not . . .well, multi-monitor
has always been tricky, for various reasons (mostly because drivers aren't
optimised for it). You could mess around with resolutions and colour depth,
but I can't suggest any specific advice other than ensuring that you have
the latest drivers from NVIDIA or your system manufacturer.

Give that a try and see if it fixes the problem, if not let me know and I'll investigate with some settings when I hit work tomorrow.

also check your refresh rates (display settings, advanced, monitor tab). your displays WILL have slower performance when split to two monitors, but it shouldn't be completely hacked. it'll depend on your video card's processor
