SDC problem

I have had no problem with Stardock Central until a couple of days ago. When I try to access it, the program comes up on my screen and freezes totally. I can not even close it from the program itself or through Windows Task Manager. The only way to close it is by rebooting. I removed it from my computer through Add/Remove in control panel. Then I downloaded Stardock Central from from the Stardock site. After entering my Object Desktop subscription information and installing the program, and rebooting my computer per installation request, I still have the same problem with it instantly freezing up when opening. How can I solve this problem? All my other Object Desktop programs operate but this one. My system is as follows in case this helps in solving the problem:

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition
Memory: 512mb
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.5 ghz
Video: 64mb Nvidia Geforce2
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live
Hard Drive: 80gb

Thanks so much yrag! Like the one individual said in your link.....I would never have equated ZoneAlarm as being the source of the problem! Once again you have saved me!
