Nagging reminders

hate pop ups!

Wish Impulse and Stardock would quite the nagging pop up reminders.

If I want to or wish to update my subscription then I will but the nagging pop ups on my screen are as bad as spam e-mails.

We all like the product but if we can't afford it right now with the economy the way it is ..i wish whey would stop nagging us.

And the more it happens the more i get tempted just to remove all my Stardock programs.

I don't know how others feel vut I am one on anti-spamming.

I've never seen the nag screens.  It must be because I'm usually subscribed for a couple of years. :sun:

It is not spam.  It is not nagging.  You can't have the benefits of purchasing if you don't purchase.

Right click on your 'Impulse Now' that's in your systray. Choose 'settings'. Uncheck 'Allow Impulse to Check For Updates' or, uncheck 'Display Notification Balloons".

Should solve the problem.

Good hint.  In Windows 7 I did this:

  1. Left clicked on empty spot on my display.
  2. Selected "Configure Fences"
  3. Selected "About" from the menu
  4. Unchecked the check box for "Automatically check for updates"

I hope this works!
