I am afraid to update it.
Actually I was in the beta the new patch is nothing like any of the beta's. 1.08 was actually not a bad patch unless you had a lot of mods and as long as you started a new game. It seems later hotfixes have added a few nasty bugs but not that many.
I think they will learn from this to be very careful with QA of hotfixes and to issue a disclaimer that the new patch may not work with all current mods and old save games.
