Favorite WinCustomize skin?

I likes the metal also but, I think the default should stay as is. It's simple, clean and easy to read.( well kinda(see below))

The site could use some larger fonts though. My vision is corrected to 20/20 and I have the font's aready bumped up a size and some things are still too small to read.......

Before I get the standard bump your res down one and it will all be fixed. WinC is the only regularly visited place that I have this problem.. And no I'm not getting bifocals or bumping the res down > just to read the news articles on one site....

Metal is my favorite

Metal here too... and then Starbucks.

They are both very original color schemes and very easy on the eyes. I haven't changed from metal since turning it on.

Wine. The others are way too bright or cheesy.

I like sylvester. I'm not really that much of a fan of the whole blue/gray thing, but Sylvester is easy on the eyes and it seems to load quicker for me than the others do.

Starbuck - nice and neutral.

Well, I have been using the Skinz skin since it was released, I just need the daily fix of brown and tan. I guess I spent so much time at "Skinz" when it was open that this eases the withdrawal symptoms somewhat.
By the way Brad, where is Shoggot these days?

OK, I have asked this a couple of time. This thread seem appropriate to ask once again: are there plans to make the site publicly skinnable? It would be very very cool to be able to upload our own skin for the site.

good idea paxx. that, or at least have a logo contest every couple of months or so, and the winning logo get's to help create a skin based on that logo.

I alternat between the Starbuck appearance and the XP metallic thingie. The default isn't bad either.

i use the Tek theme, not just cuz i am biased, but because it loads like lightning....great work Alexandrie!!!!!!!!!!

T-Man, I know nothing of how this site is programmed. I just assumed since people can already choose which "skin" they want displayed, most of the hard work is already done. Of course I can be totally wrong.

I thought if we were give a series of presets for image file names, width/height, etc. we could create our own and upload it. I thought maybe a server component may be able to automatically unzip a file, and create a new directory where to place each new skin. And from there, I though not too much programming would have made it possible for people to select the new user skins.
Of course, as I said, this is probably very simplistic and the reality is surely way more complicated.

There is no emergency, I am just making a site feature enhancement for the future. It would indeed be really cool.

it's in our plan paxx, we just have other priority.
But if you want to make one I can put it online. The problem is nobody will know it's you exept if we tell it on msgboard.

I am using Sylvester. It's so nice on the eyes.

the blue one is too generic if you ask me. The metalic one is the most unique and professional looking.

Had me going...I couldn't figure out where these people were seeing these skins that weren't on my list!

edit: oh, okay, I use the Mud theme, easy on the eyes, and love that green glass bar across the top.
